The Sims 4 mod directory: what each mod does, and where its real download lives

We read nine creators line by line for this directory: their own sites, their own licence text, and the pages their downloads actually sit on.

None of the nine permits re-hosting, and none forbids a listing page. Those two facts decide how every entry below is written.

The policy in one paragraph

We describe the mod, we credit the creator by name above the fold with a link to their own home, and the download link goes to the creator's own page. No mirror, no copy on our server, and no deep link into a file the creator hosts somewhere else. Support questions go to the creator's own channel rather than to us, because it is their mod.

Four of the nine creators demand that in writing. For the other five it is the only reading that does not assume permission nobody gave.

What each creator actually says

Sortable. The evidence divides three ways: creators who forbid re-uploading in their own words, creators who also grant permission to write about the mod, and creators who publish no terms at all. Absence of terms is not permission; it means default copyright applies.

The two sources conflict in one place. LittleMsSam's Tumblr states a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 licence, while every LittleMsSam CurseForge project we checked shows the licence field as All Rights Reserved. Both signals are real and they point different ways, so we do not lean on either as settled permission. Neither reading permits mirroring, which is the only part that affects this directory.

Where the download button points

These are the destinations we verified. Where a creator uses one evergreen post that gets renamed each release, we link the numeric post id rather than the versioned slug, because the slug drifts out of date while still resolving.

TwistedMexi's All Scenarios is flagged Broken on the creator's own site, and this directory carries that status. A directory that lists a broken mod as working sends its readers to the creator's inbox.

What a directory entry carries

A creator's words are not a website's boilerplate

Mod The Sims prints a generic paragraph under any creator whose terms field is empty. It says the creator has no terms of use, then suggests that this could mean they do not mind what happens to their content. That paragraph is written by Mod The Sims. It is not a statement by the creator and it is not permission.

That same boilerplate appears on TwistedMexi's profile, directly beneath the hand-written policy forbidding uploads to other distribution sites. Reproducing the boilerplate as TwistedMexi's position would state the exact opposite of what that policy says. It also appears on weerbesu's and KawaiiStacie's profiles. It never appears on this site as anybody's position.

Sites we will not link

KawaiiStacie's older domain, kawaiistaciemods.com, has changed hands. It now serves an offshore gambling affiliate page. It is still cited as the official site on the KawaiiStacie Mod The Sims profile, and a link to it is still live on the current site's Slice of Life page, so anyone transcribing those pages by hand would republish it. That domain is blocked in our build, not just noted here, and the correct destinations are kawaii-stacie.com and the KawaiiStacie Patreon.

Beyond that: we do not link mod mirror sites. Several of them rank well for these mods and host the zips directly, which is precisely what four of our nine creators forbid in writing. simsfinds.com, sims4.cc, allgamemods.com, gamuters.com, aqxaromods.com, simscolony.com and the rest are useful only as weak corroboration of a version number, clearly labelled as third-party reported. They are never a download destination. Downloading from one means an unknown build, no support and no update path.

What free means for a Sims 4 mod

EA's mods policy requires mods to be non-commercial and distributed free of charge. Creators may recoup costs through donations and passive advertising, provided the request lives on their site rather than inside the mod, and provided every user can access the mod in full for free. Paid early access to an unreleased build is common and permitted; the public release is still free.

The 2026 Marketplace does not change this for anything in this directory. The Sims Maker Program covers Create a Sim and Build/Buy items only. Script mods, the category most of these downloads belong to, are not sellable through it and remain governed entirely by the free, non-commercial mods policy. EA's own line is that the Marketplace does not replace free content. If a site is charging you for one of these files, it is not the creator.

Our own mod, and why it has no download here

We build a cheat mod, Sims4UICheats, so read this directory knowing that. It is not released, it has never run inside The Sims 4, and nobody has play-tested it. It is built, statically verified and installed on one machine, and that is all. It is a script-only mod with 451 actions behind a searchable command palette, it patches no interface binaries, and it is designed around an undo journal. That describes how it is built, not whether any of it works.

So there is no download link for it on this site and there will not be one until that changes. We will not tell you it works, that it is stable, or that anyone likes it, because nobody has played with it yet. Where our mod is compared against another, the comparison stays on mechanism, because mechanism is measurable without playing either one. We have not play-tested anybody else's mod either, so we do not certify those as working.
