Disclaimer
Sims4UICheats is an unofficial fan project with no connection to Electronic Arts or Maxis. Cheats and mods change the game in ways it does not expect, so back up your save before using either. Everything here is checked against a stated game build and can go out of date the moment the game is patched.
Not EA, not Maxis, not official
Sims4UICheats is an independent fan project. It has no connection to Electronic Arts Inc., to Maxis, or to anyone who works for either. The Sims, The Sims 4, EA and Maxis are trademarks of Electronic Arts Inc. They appear on this site for one reason, which is to identify the game being written about, and their use here is not a claim of endorsement, sponsorship or approval.
Nothing here is an official statement about the game. Where a page describes what the game does, that is a description of what we found in the game's own files on a stated build, not a statement of what EA intends, supports, or will keep working.
Cheats change the game, and that has consequences
A cheat sets game state directly. The game normally reaches a state by going through its own logic, and a cheat skips that, which is exactly why cheats are useful and exactly why they can cause trouble. A Sim can end up in a career level with none of the history that level assumes, or with a relationship the game has no record of forming.
Back up your save before using cheats, and keep a save you are willing to go back to. Most cheats are harmless most of the time. The ones that are not tend to look identical to the ones that are, right up until something is wrong.
Using cheats can also affect achievements, and in some cases the game disables them for a save that has used certain commands. That is the game's behaviour, not ours, and it can change with a patch.
Mods are other people's software
The mods described on this site were made by other people. We do not host them, we do not modify them, and we do not distribute them. Every download link points at the creator's own page, and the build fails if a mod page tries to link a file on our domain or on a mirror site.
That protects you from installing a repackaged copy, but it is not a safety guarantee. A script mod runs with the same access to your computer as the game itself, so installing one is a decision to trust its author. That decision is yours to make. We are not responsible for what a third-party mod does to your game, your save or your computer, and we cannot support it: the creator wrote it, and the creator is the one who can help.
Mods also break. The Sims 4 is patched regularly, and a mod built against one build can stop working, or misbehave, on the next. A version number on this site is the version we last confirmed, not a promise about the version you will download today.
What "verified" means here, and what it does not
Pages on this site state the game build their commands were checked against. That means the command was found registered in the game's own files on that build. It does not mean the command has been play-tested in every combination of packs, that it will behave the same on a later patch, or that it will do what you want it to do in your particular save.
Where we could not prove something, the page says so instead of filling the gap. That is a deliberate choice and it means some pages are less confident than competing ones. The method is set out on about/how-we-verify.
No warranty
Everything on this site is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from using this site or anything described on it, including lost save files, lost progress, or a game that will not start.
Nothing in this disclaimer limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, you keep whatever rights your local law gives you regardless of what this page says.
Links to other sites
This site links out constantly, because sending you to a creator's own page is the whole model. Those sites are not ours. We do not control what they publish, what they change after we link them, or what they do with your data once you are there, and a link is not an endorsement of anything on the far side of it.
We check outbound links and keep a blocklist of domains that must never appear, including one former creator domain that now redirects to a gambling affiliate page. That reduces the risk. It does not remove it, and a link that was correct when checked can go somewhere else tomorrow.
This is not professional advice
The pages here describe a video game. Nothing on this site is legal advice, and the notes about what mod creators permit are our reading of what those creators published, recorded with the source, not a legal opinion about your situation.
Getting something corrected or removed
If a page here is wrong, it should be fixed rather than defended. If you are a creator and you want your mod, your description or your artwork removed from this site, say so and it comes down, without argument and without conditions. The contact is privacy@sims4uicheats.com.
What this site collects about you, which is one analytics tool and nothing else, is on privacy. What the site is and how it is put together is on about.
Common questions
Is this site official, or endorsed by EA?
Neither. It is an independent fan project. The Sims, The Sims 4, EA and Maxis are trademarks of Electronic Arts Inc., used here only to say which game is being written about. Nothing on this site is an official statement about the game, about what EA permits, or about what a future patch will do.
Can a cheat break my save?
Yes, and that is a real risk rather than boilerplate. Cheats set game state directly, skipping the checks the game would normally apply, so they can leave a household, a career or a relationship in a combination the game never expected to see. Save first, and keep the save you can go back to.
Are the mods you link safe?
We link to the creator's own page and never to a mirror, which removes the most common way people install something other than what they intended. Beyond that we cannot vouch for anyone else's code. A mod runs with the same access as the game, so installing one is a decision to trust its author, and that decision is yours.
A cheat on this site did not work. Is the page wrong?
Possibly, and if so it should be fixed. The more common cause is that the game has been patched since the page was checked. Every page states the game build its commands were verified against, so you can compare that with the build you are running before assuming either.
